If you would love a chance to see your face in the middle of the war with the chimera when Resistance 3 rolls out later this year, then we’ve found the contest for you.
It was almost a month ago that we reported on Insomniac and Sony holding an awesome contest that would allow the special winners to get their faces mapped into Resistance 3. While many in the UK were happy about the contest, everyone else was left feeling a little left out. Luckily SCEA and the Resistance 3 team have announced that another round of the contest opens today, but this time its for US residents only (excluding Arizona, for some odd reason) who are 18 and older. The contest opens today, but only runs until March 11th, so if you want in you better get moving.
In all other respects the contest appears to be exactly the same as its European counterpart. Those who wish to enter must dress up in a Resistance themed costume, and pose in a setting that makes it appear they are within the Resistance universe. Whether its looking like you’ve just survived a Chimeran attack, or about to launch one against them, entries must be accompanied by an explanation of why you deserve to win. Winners not only get to appear in the game, but also win a trip for two to San Diego from March 28, 2011 to March 31, 2011, where they’ll get to meet the team at Insomniac and get their face scanned.
