Capcom Confirms Dragon’s Dogma 2, Details Inside

July 30, 2012Written by Alex Osborn

A sequel to Capcom’s massive RPG Dragon’s Dogma has been confirmed to be in the works and game director Hideaki Itsuno has revealed the first details about the title.

In an interview with Famitsu (via OPM), Itsuno discussed how big his vision was for the first game and how the team just couldn’t cram it all in to the first Dragon’s Dogma. As such, the team had to leave quite a bit of content out, rendering a game that represented only 60 to 70% of Itsuno initial vision.

It goes without saying that the sequel aims to realize the entire vision of Itsuno, and one of the major inclusions they’re working on adding is quest creation. Besides that, he didn’t have much else to divulge, leaving JRPG fans salivating for more. If you find yourself in this boat, don’t worry, as we here at PlayStation LifeStyle will be sure to keep you informed on any and all news about Dragon’s Dogma 2 as it happens.
