The Order: 1886 Could Sell 10-12 Million Copies in 2015, Says Pachter

Despite the numerous claims that the game is fairly short, analyst Michael Pachter seems to think that The Order: 1886 will sell really well this year.

In fact, Pachter claims that the game could sell up to 10-12 million copies in 2015, if Sony chooses to include the game in a console bundle at some point. However, even if Sony does not package The Order: 1886 into a bundle deal, Pachter believes that up to five million copies could still be sold this year.

It’s a really good exclusive title and I think it attaches at a pretty high rate to the install base so probably 3.5 to 4 million of the install base, and then I think it will probably attract another 1 to 2 million to buy a PlayStation 4 in the next few months. So I would imagine it would be 5 million through the year’s end and it’s great.

Whether or not it will sell that many copies remains to be seen. Have you pre-ordered a copy of The Order: 1886? And if not, will you be picking it up on the 20th?
