Following the release of their lovely holiday themes, folks at Truant Pixel have released two brand new PlayStation 4 dynamic themes, and they look really good! Out now are the Azure Earth Orbital and Azure Earth Holographic themes, the details and descriptions for which are provided below.
Azure Earth Orbital Theme
Inspired by orbital photography of the planet Earth. Rendered in real-time HD at 1080p, it features a fully 3D globe that orbits peacefully around its lonely star. City lights become visible as each hemisphere passes into night, then vanish as they rotate into the sun’s view. A dynamic drifting camera frames the scene, which is accented by continuously shifting lighting and lens effects. An original orchestral score and custom sound effects are included to complete the experience.

Azure Earth Holographic Theme
The holographic theme features a fully 3D globe. It includes an additional ‘holographic’ augmented-reality overlay incorporating the content icons of the PS4 system’s dynamic menu. A freely drifting camera frames the scene, which is accented by continuously shifting lighting and lens effects. An original electronic music score and custom sound effects are included to complete the experience.
