Avalanche Aware of Just Cause 3 Technical Issues, Are ‘Fully Committed to Making It as Awesome as Possible’

With Just Cause 3 launching yesterday, and an analysis showing that the game has trouble hitting a locked 30fps on PlayStation 4 and Xbox One, developer Avalanche has issued a message to players, acknowledging that they are aware of the technical issues being reported.

It will take some time before a second patch can be released to address the problems though, with Avalanche needing to recreate the issues and build fixes:

[…] We know that some of you are encountering some technical issues – we’re looking into them all and we’re fully committed to providing you the best possible experience.

We know you’re going to want specific information on when a patch will land and what will be fixed – we would love to give you that information, and we will as soon as we have it. But right now, a little over one day since we launched, we have huge numbers of players in our enormous game world and we’re monitoring all the data coming in.

We need a little bit of time to recreate some of these issues and build fixes. Rest assured though – we are fully committed to making Just Cause 3 as awesome as possible. We already know loads of people are having a blast with the game but we’ll do all we can to make sure everyone is laughing and smiling as they play.

If you are experiencing issues with Just Cause 3, Avalanche suggests contacting Customer Support.

As for other known issues with Just Cause 3, you may experience issues with day one codes on PS4, as Avalanche explained:

  • PSN Day One Code not working – please let us know where you get the code. If you got a code from a specific territory and try to active it in a different territory, it might not work.

What’s your time been like with Just Cause 3?
