Joe Danger is quickly becoming everyone’s favourite PlayStation Network title of the year, getting stellar reviews across the web. The side-scrolling racer has brought Sony’s “Play, Create, Share” motto to the PSN with style, with comprehensive and easy to use level creation. To learn more about the game, its future and the struggles of a small developer, PlayStation LifeStyle chatted with Sean Murray, Managing Director of Hello Games about everything from PlayStation Move, to Home, and even the future of the Games Industry in an extensive wide-ranging interview.
PSN Review – Joe Danger
Sometimes, it’s easiest to describe a game as being a mix of X and Y. In Joe Danger’s case, it’s a bit more complicated than just two letters. There are hints of Sonic the Hedgehog, Tony Hawk’s Pro Skater, Excite Bike, Trials HD, and LittleBigPlanet, all packed into a tight package. Overwhelmed? Don’t be. Developer Hello Games has surgically removed some of the best elements of the most addicting games in recent memory and implanted them into their whimsical racing/platforming/puzzling hybrid. Needless to say, after some hands-on time with the title we’re eager for more.
