Square Enix Sneaks in Hitman: Absolution Trailer

Square Enix has gone live with the debut gameplay trailer for Hitman: Absolution. This is the same demo that was shown off at E3 and clocks in at around 58 seconds, giving you just enough time to see Agent 47 before he fades into the shadows.

In the video, dubbed ‘Run For Your Life’, we see Agent 47 being hunted by police and completely unarmed, seeking refuge in a abandoned Chicago library. We also get a good look at some of the stealth take-downs, the combat, and disguises as we see 47 dressed as a police officer during the gameplay.

Hitman: Absolution is the fifth game in the series and looks to add some new kinks to the series, like a “very, very interesting” online feature and a new ‘instinct’ mode which is supposed to work somewhat like the detective mode in Batman: Arkham City. The game is penciled in for a 2012 release, which would be 6 years after the last Hitman game. The wait should be worth it though, as this game was a Best at E3 title for PlayStation LifeStyle.
