The VOTE: Best Metal Gear Solid Game?

The VOTE allows you, the PSLS community, to cast your vote and determine once and for all which choice is definitively better. This is for all the marbles, and any other voting sort of analogies that you can think of. Feel free to discuss your choice in the comments below, but remember to keep it civil. We’ll have new votes every Wednesday, with results from the prior week posted at that time, so be sure to check back and make your voice heard.

Last week, we pitted the heroes of Metal Gear Solid against each other, and asked you to vote between Big Boss and Solid Snake. In an extremely close battle that cannot definitively declare one or the other the winner, Big Boss took home 51% of the votes and Solid Snake landed with 49%. We’ll consider there to be a margin of error, however, and call it a draw between these two eponymous heroes, because let’s face it, it was really tough to decide.

Continuing our Metal Gear Solid V coverage, we now want to know which Metal Gear Solid game was your favorite. For the sake of simplicity, we are not including Metal Gear 1 and 2, or any of the non-numbered entries except Peace Walker. This is a straight shootout between all of the Metal Gear Solid titles.

So which will it be? Metal Gear Solid and Snake’s mission on Shadow Moses? The bait and switch of Metal Gear Solid 2? Metal Gear Solid 3 taking us back to the past? What about Metal Gear Solid 4 concluding Solid Snake’s story? And of course, we can’t forget Peace Walker, which sets the stage for many of the mechanics and events that we’ll be seeing in Metal Gear Solid V. They’re all great games, but you can only vote for one, so which is the best?

Which Metal Gear Solid game is the best game? We’re only counting the numbered titles and Peace Walker here, so ca… in PlayStation LifeStyle’s Hangs on LockerDome

Check back during the week to see how your choice is stacking up. Have any suggestions for future polls? Email me, tweet me, or hit us up on Twitter @PSLifeStyle, and don't forget to vote each Wednesday.
