Free Hitman Halloween Pack Brings Horror to Colorado

IO Interactive has updated 2016’s Hitman with horror-inspired festivities. The Hitman Halloween Pack, which goes live today–October 19, 2018, is available for free across PlayStation 4, PC, and Xbox One platforms.

The studio revealed the news on its official website with a post that detailed the following:

The HITMAN Halloween Pack is a FREE download that invites you to Colorado and gives you full access to everything the location has to offer for a limited time. You’ll be able to play the “Freedom Fighters” mission, all of the Escalation Contracts and Featured Contracts in Colorado as well as use Contract Mode to create your own Contracts.

In the spirit of Halloween, we’ve created 10 Featured Contracts that are spooky, creepy or otherwise frightening. We had a lot of fun making them and we hope you’ll enjoy playing through them. We created some that are focused on disguises, others tell spooky stories through the briefing and others are plain mayhem – let us know what you think!

Of course, it wouldn’t be a Halloween announcement without a horror-esque trailer. Agent 47 dressed like a scarecrow, axe in hand looks as though the worlds of Texas Chainsaw Massacre and Jeepers Creepers are colliding. In fact, 47 would make quite the slasher movie villain. He’s certainly got a body count that could rival many a horror icon.

If this Halloween Pack doesn’t tickle your fancy, no worries. There’s still more Hitman to look forward to later in the year with the launch of Hitman 2.

Hitman 2 releases this fall on November 13, 2018.
