Get ready to ring in the holiday season with the festive surprise update for Grand Theft Auto Online, adding a series of new themed cosmetics to GTA V‘s multiplayer segment, all the while welcoming back all holiday outfits from previous events.
Available from December 21 through until January 5, the festive accessories will feature across PlayStation 4, Xbox One and PC versions of Grand Theft Auto V, and Rockstar laid out a list of the novel items and extras now available in Los Santos for a limited period of time.
- New Santa outfits and a new collection of snug Pajamas.
- Masks featuring Mr. and Mrs. Claus, Bad Elf, Crazy Gingerbread, Festive Luchador and more.
- 3 Christmas themed Car Horns.
- Christmas Trees at Legion Square and in all owned Apartments, Stilt Houses and Yachts.
With occasional snowfall blanketing the in-game environment, the developer is also hosting an in-game competition asking players to take their best photograph of Los Santos. To enter, simply capture a festive still of the city or its neighboring Blaine County and upload it to Social Club using the Snapmatic app.
Running until January 5, Rockstar will then gift the winner with $1 million of in-game currency, along with running a story on the studio’s Newswire channel.
