Blizzard recently released patch 2.4.0 for Diablo 3, which seems to have caused some performance issues for console owners. Over on Battle.net, users are reporting a number of problems including frame-rate drops, lags, and freezes. Although the developer has acknowledged the complaints, Community Manager Kauza has said that the team has been unable to reproduce some of the issues reported internally so far, but is on the case.
If you’re one of those who are experiencing any problems post-update, Blizzard has advised to get in touch with the following information:
Platform (Xbox One or PS4):
Region (US, Europe, etc):
Are you playing solo or party? If party, with how many other players?:
Do you notice this at specific in-game locations?:
For those experiencing menu issues, what menus?:
Description of performance issues. Is framerate dropping constant? Do you notice it sometimes more than others? Do you notice it when performing certain tasks?:
Is there any other information you think could be relevant?:
How much free space is available on your system?
Go to Settings > System Storage Management and look for “Free Space”
From the Home screen, press the right trigger and select My games and apps
On the left side of the screen, a meter shows the percent of storage space used and your total free space
We’ll update our readers when we have more info.
