Sony Working on Breaking Bad PSVR Project and It’s Not a Game

Producer Vince Gilligan is teaming up with Sony to work on a Breaking Bad virtual reality project for PlayStation VR and we’re told that it’s not a video game.

Speaking to several media outlets, SIEA’s Shawn Layden and SIE Global CEO Andrew House said that the idea came about at an event PlayStation recently held where the company invited “some of the best show runners” Sony Pictures works with, all of whom tried out PSVR. While they all seemed impressed with the technology and showed an interest in experimenting with it, Gilligan was really enthusiastic about moving forward. The duo refrained from divulging any details and said that the parties involved are still figuring things out.

“I don’t know what it’s going to be,” Layden said of the project in an interview with Polygon. “No idea what it’s going to do, but they’re very keen at looking at virtual reality as the new medium.”

We’ll update our readers when we have more details.
